Icon: Patterns

The pattern that I have noticed in this book is that since Thomas has come to the Glades, new things have been happening that no one thought was ever possible. An example of this is when Thomas and Minho kill three Grievers at once. Also, when a new person came into the Glades, it was a girl. Even though everyone in the Glades are boys. The other thing that I noticed is that when Thomas came, a few boys thought that he was evil and attempted to kill him. I predict that until they all get out of the Glades, these weird patterns will begin to make sense.

In this part of the story, the doors in the Glades that used to close every night, suddenly didn't close. In the past before Thomas came to the Glades, the doors closed every night and they were always safe and had everything they needed to survive in their own community. They had all the supplies necessary to survive. Now, since the doors to the Maze are open, they are in a high risk of being killed by the Grievers. Also, their supplies are no longer coming through the box like they used to every week. I predict that either they will find a way out of the Glades, or they will die from the Grievers. I think this because of the patterns that have been seen throughout this book.
